What are the criteria if I want to install the Battery Angel in my car?
A1:Firstly, your car should be operated with 12V battery; you should know where your car battery is located in your car because some car battery partition is not located inside the engine hood or trunk. Once you have known the battery location, you need to consider sufficient home for housing the Battery Angel. Battery Angel can be installed aside of the battery wall or on the top of the battery case.

For your information about the outside dimensions of Battery Angel are: L105mm x W55mm x H83mm (L4.157Inch x W2.17Inch x H3.26Inch)

If I can not restart my car engine, how do I know if the problem is related a car engine issue or the battery?
A3:For a car that is in good condition with a good battery, it should successfully restarted within 5 seconds or within one or two restarting cycles. After those restarting cycles, if the car engine cannot be restarted then it could be a car engine problem.

When will I know that my battery is dead?
A4:If you find your car restarting period is longer and the restarting motor running relatively slow then it is a typical symptom of battery under degradation. You may need to replace the battery or could suddenly malfunction. As a result, no power would be available for next time you want to restart. Battery Angel is not able to stop the normal wearing out or failure of a battery.

If I replace a battery, can I reuse my Battery Angel?
A5:Yes, Battery Angel is a device with a long life and low power consumption. You can keep your original Battery Angel and install it on the new battery to prevent dead batteries.

What is the difference between the cars factory built power drain protection and the Battery Angel?
A6:The cars factory built power drain protection offers limited protection once a car key removed from the ignition. However, Battery Angel is an extremely low power consumption and comprehensive power safeguard device that helps prevent dead batteries from over-discharging whether the car key has been left in the ignition or not. It can effectively avoid a battery over-discharging from human error and unexpected power drainage taking place from the cars electronic devices.

What materials are used to make Battery Angel?
A7:The casing material is made of PP which is the same material used in the most automotive battery casings. The power cable insulation material is made of silicon rubber which has higher temperature endurance (200degC and 600V) than conventional cable but it is more flexible. The insulation cover housing the power cable connection joint is made of a rubber with high temperature endurance (TPV).

What happens to my old 12V batteries once they reach the end of there useful life?
A8:Lead-acid batteries are the environmental success story of our time. Roughly 95+ percent of all batteries are recycled. Compared to 42% of newspapers, 55% of aluminum soft drink and beer cans, and 40% of plastic soft drink bottles, lead-acid batteries top the list of the most highly recycled consumer product.

When recycled 97% of a lead-acid battery is recovered, the lead acid battery gains its environmental edge from its closed loop life cycle. The typical new lead-acid battery can contain 60 to 80 percent recycled lead, plastic and other components. When a spent battery is collected, it is sent to a recycler where, under strict environmental regulations, the lead, plastic and other materials are reclaimed and sold to new battery manufacturers and other users of the reclaimed materials. The recycling cycle goes on indefinitely. That means the lead and plastic in the lead-acid battery in your car, truck, boat or motorcycle very possibly has been - and will continue to be -- recycled many, many times.
